Newly established Family Comes First (F.C.F) Enterprise ranging with members from the West (from Jane and finch) to East (Malvern) areas of Toronto consisting of many different members, although:  C.E.O- Star Dat PrinceV.P- Empress, & Artist- Helloworld Sam (The Environmentalist) were the members who took part in the interview presented today. F.C.F is about combining culture, and life experiences to build a better tomorrow for family, and friends alike through music, and the arts. Music has always been a major part of their lives, just having fun with friends, and their community started about ten years ago. Star Dat Prince started writing, raping, and making Youtube videos about five years ago. Now the group is ready to take it all to the next level by aggressively marketing the F.C.F brand.  What stands out most about F.C.F is their drive to obtain their dreams, passion for the streets, and their ever so cocky characters. Read the full interview below (questions answered as group):

Is there a pacific message in your music you want to get out to your listeners?

Certain songs we do talk about violence, but its only certain struggles we try and put a positive message in; it’s the screw face city! F.C.F movement (clothing line, label) crossing boundaries together: cultures, colors, and different areas that’s why we say F.C.F (Family Comes First). At the end of the day it’s like we all one big family (group/society). This is just the beginning we’re just starting, we’re here, we’re here to stay, as long as the earth is spinning.

Tell us a little bit why that is?

‘Cause we all from different areas, different types of lives, different parents, and stuff! We are all different colors- we’re all the same in the end. Trying to see past from where we been- a new look from where we’ve been; we wouldn’t be who we are if you haven’t been through struggle. We take pride in it, and that’s our goal!

Can you tell us about F.C.F (Family Comes First)?

We’re trying to put together: a clothing line, music label, modeling company, with promotion and distribution helping everyone everywhere! F.C.F is about helping everyone its kind of like a unity, so we run as a family.

Where does your passion for music come from?

Life experiences, what we seen, on the news, past, present, and future- that’s what where it comes from! I mean look when 50 Cent (Get Rich Or Die Tryin) came out everyone couldn’t get over the fact that he wasn’t going to make it, and now look at him!

What will/have you change(d) from lasts year to make this year more progressive?

Me (Star Dat Prince) as an artist started putting out positive music, started reaching to other artists. I realized artists started to say: “move forward make it better”. To change the world you have to change your self first!

What are some of the things you look forward to regarding you music?

Aside from reaching dreams; knowing that we made an impact, and inspired families! Were letting people know: you can do what, you want to do. Create something you can give back. With the recession reduces the thought that the struggles we going through- break bread, and have a good time. Follow tradition- we’re leaders!

Can you tell us about the live performance you did, recently posted on Youtube?

That was at Black Swan it was the fallen soldiers event…Uncle B-no (FCF MANAGER/ CEO OF CMA ENTERTAINMENT) lost his nephew recently…we’re also putting together a mixtape for him (R.I.P).

There was a show before that at the lambadina, but the footage still needs to be put up- we will be posting it soon. And are depute performance Tuesday Feb 9Th at York university Rise and shine event footage can be found at jane-finch.com a upcoming show on Tuesday (March 29, 2011) at the Smiling Buddha as well. We like to create stuff so we have our own shows.

You have about 30 Youtube videos on you channel; do you get hype to make music during “jam sessions” with friends?

Some days we get together- studio, clubs, home, biggest time is when we’re: smoking, drinking, partying. We put on a beat, and everyone starts doing his or her thing. The studio is strictly for mixtapes and albums. We don’t battle, we hit the gas and go we running over everything- so no battles! The streets is on the street, we live it before you can say it- we out here!

What is your favorite single or album you listen to at home?

Heartless G, Hustlers Poem, Mayham Morearty, K Koke, Certified Cash , Max B, 2Pac, Biggie Smalls, Styles P, Drake, 50Cent, Outcast, Three 6 Mafia, M.O.P, Everybody from F.C.F! and All the Real Toronto Artist Doing They Thing
